1948 Studebaker Champion Deluxe Convertible
Offered for sale is a very rare 1948 Studebaker Champion Deluxe Convertible. This is a fine example of a rust-free California black plate classic. The vehicle is in excellent condition having been restored several years ago. Options include a power top, in line six-cylinder engine, overdrive three speed manual transmission, newer wide white tires, and most original appointments. As far as we can tell, the red on red color combination is correct and original.
This Studebaker has been shown several times at the Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance and never fails to bring smiles and lots of attention. Spectators comment that it looks like it just came off of the showroom floor. While not perfect, one can drive this “Baker” with pride as is or do a little detail work to make it a show piece.
